JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Cloud Architect who will join our team in the realization of projects integrating the latest technologies. This person will act as a technology expert to provide advice to client accounts. He/she is on the lookout for business problems and opportunities and recommends solutions that will allow the client to achieve their objectives. The applicant will take on a leadership role on strategic and complex files that require extensive and in-depth expertise in his/her field of expertise. 

This person will be responsible for helping our clients understand their needs and identify the best technological solution. 

Interpret the client's needs and communicate them with the technical team to develop innovative solutions. Finally, he/she will be required to coordinate the evolution of the technological solution, to ensure that the project deliverables are respected and that they meet the client's needs. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

o Responsible for the management of projects and development of activities specific to his/her field of expertise. 
o Participate in the sales process and assist with Requests for Proposals 
o Support sales projects by leading technical discussions in meetings with clients. 
o Translate customer needs into meaningful, results-oriented commitments and create
proposals. 
o Participate in preliminary estimates and project plans. 
o Advice and support clients in the positioning, planning, development, execution and follow-up of the various strategic mandates under his/her responsibility. 
o Build a trusting relationship with managed accounts to influence technology
decisions. 
o Identify issues and make recommendations to the appropriate parties. 
o Anticipate trends and changes in his/her field of expertise and make appropriate recommendations to ensure the development of best practices for the company. 
o Act as a team coach on software development best practices, continuous improvement and the Azure approach. 

REQUIREMENTS 

Experience 
o 10+ years of progressive technology experience 
o In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform 
o Experience in migrating application solutions to the cloud (Microsoft Azure) 
o Experience in design and integration of continuous integration/delivery pipeline 
o Strong experience in Agile methodology. 
o Ability to communicate with customers on a business level and transform their needs into a technical solution. 

Education 
College diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
